Grenoble 4th of September 2003

The HSAPS consortium arranged a half-day workshop in parallell with the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC2003) in Grenoble.

The aim of the workshop was to present the results from the project on the potential for introduction of hydrogen as an energy carrier in stand-alone power systems (SAPS) based on renewable energy input. Presentations was be made on SAPS specifics and the challenges and possible benefits of hydrogen in such systems, the potential for hydrogen technology in SAPS (presented by hydrogen technology manufactures), the prelimary results of the HSAPS market analysis and a discussion with representatives from SAPS installers & operators, research institutes, hydrogen technology experts, etc.
